Welcome travelers to the Capitol Theatre in Rome New York, the heart of beautiful Central New York State. Below you will find a plethora of travel information to help you find places to stay during your visit.

BACK TO MAIN CAPITOLFEST PAGE

AIR TRAVEL: The closest major airport is Syracuse Hancock International Airport which is approximately 40 minutes outside of Rome.

TRAIN: Amtrak has a stop at the beautifully restored Martin Street train station in Rome, NY, not too far from downtown.

BUS: Greyhound has a stop in Utica, NY. Rome and Utica buses are run by Centro Bus Lines -- schedules may be located HERE.

TRAVELING BY CAR: Capitol Theatre at 220 W. Dominick St. in Rome, NY is very easy to get to from the New York State Thruway -- directions may be found HERE. Rome, NY is right at the center of New York state, located in the picturesque Mohawk Valley region -- particularly beautiful in summer and usually temperate (though we make no promises in August!). A picturesque 15-minute drive from the Capitol Theatre, Belle Maison Farm offers cozy country hospitality in a beautiful setting. Terrific for those who want to make their visit to the Rome area a relaxing vacation in the country. Be sure to take advantage of Marj's delicious Farmer's Breakfast and baked treats, and take some time to wander the lovely grounds. Three large second-floor rooms share a common bath. A second large bath is available on the ground floor. Rooms are limited, so reserve early! A very pleasant and hospitable place to stay.

King business rooms have sofabeds and desks in them. Pet friendly hotel. Free local calls. Pet charge of $25.00/stay per pet, limit one pet per room, 20 pounds and under.
