Donating to the Capitol Arts Complex
For over 90 years, the Capitol has been Rome’s premier showplace. From the historic 1928 Capitol Theatre, to the opening of Cinema Capitol in 2014, something is going on in the Complex 7 days a week, 365 days per year. What’s more, we’ve got great plans for the future, to add even more vitality to Rome’s West Dominick Street Arts District!
Your donations are so important in helping us realize our potential and continue to be an arts and culture catalyst for Rome and beyond. Please help our efforts by supporting the Capitol Arts Complex in one of the following ways:
Friends Program/Annual Fund
Capitol Friends are those generous donors who participate in our Annual Fund. Through making donations of $25-$49 (for individuals) or $50+ (for households) at least once per year, donors support the programming and operations of the Capitol Arts Complex. Annual Fund gifts are unrestricted, which means that they are not dedicated to a specific purpose. Click here for more information.
Capital Campaign
The Capital Campaign is a specialized, short-term fundraising effort that supports our growth as we restore the historic Capitol and build a third arts venue – a multi-purpose event and theatrical space – at 228 West Dominick Street. We are undertaking this effort because we are doing well as an organization and want to do even more, even better.
The “quiet” portion of our capital campaign was quite successful, and allowed us to renovate 230 West Dominick Street to create Cinema Capitol. We have now raised over 70% of our $5.25 million project goal, and only $1.5 million remains to be raised! Click here for more information.
