    Double feature of the original, The Invisible Man, starring Claude Rains, Gloria Stuart, Una O’Connor, William Harrigan, E.E. Clive, Dudley Digges, and Dwight Frye and directed by horror icon James Whale, and the comedy parody Abbott and Costello Meet the Invisible Man, directed by Charles Lamont with Bud Abbott, Lou Costello, Nancy Guild, Arthur Franz, Adele Jergens, and Sheldon Leonard.

One of the movies in Universal Pictures’ horror cycle of the early 1930s, The Invisible Man is widely regarded as one of the classics of the genre. Radio Times writes, “The success of this superb adaptation of HG Wells’s novel is down to John P Fulton and John J Mescall’s pioneering special effects and the eerie atmosphere conjured up by horror maestro James Whale.”
