At the Capitol Arts Complex, May is “Local Arts and Music Showcase” month. For the entire month we bring local talent to the forefront. During the Rome Arts Hall of Fame ceremony we honor those who have had a lifetime of contributions to local art; we usher in the future talent in the Capitol’s youth theatre group the “Rising Stars” with a live production, and so much more.
This year we once again seek out local filmmakers and their submissions to the “local Film Shorts” presentation, this year on May 17th. Details will be coming soon, but we thought you might want some extra lead time to get those projects off the ground and ready for the screen….
