It’s the return of an annual favorite! DRIVE-IN NIGHT DOUBLE FEATURE. Two drive-in style movies shown INSIDE the historic Capitol Theatre.

Our First title for the night will be DR. CYCLOPS (Paramount, 1940) (35mm film print; Technicolor; 75 minutes)

Directed by Ernest Schoedsack; with Albert Dekker, Thomas Coley, Janice Logan, Victor Kilian, Charles Halton. A prominent scientist with failing eyesight invites two fellow scientists to help him in his experiments. They are horrified to discover the nature of these experiments is to shrink living creatures to doll size. When they refuse to assist he shrinks them and their companions.

Then! THE MONOLITH MONSTERS (Universal, 1957) (Digital presentation [DCP]; black and white; 77 minutes)

Directed by John Sherwood; with Lola Albright, Grant Williams, Les Tremayne, Trevor Bardette. Fragments of shattered meteorites grow into huge rock formations and reproduce when exposed to water, destroying everything in their path.
