Capitol Art Complex 200 West Dominick Street, Rome, announces the “SummerStage Fall Festival October 14 and 15. The festival opens Friday evening at 7 with a special live SummerStage production of Show Stoppers on the Capitol Theatre stage. Show Stoppers will also close the day of events with a second performance at 7pm on Saturday.

Rome Art Association brings back the Haunted Hallway Art & Craft Bazaar with a pumpkin carving contest, and frog themed art and more than a dozen arts and crafts vendors .

11AM-1PM Cinema Capitol

The Project Fibonacci Foundation Trivia Contest. This is TV game show style trivia. Each contestant will have a button to trigger a buzzer and light to answer the questions. Contestants can either play for themselves or as a representative for a person eligible to receive the grand prize.

The Project Fibonacci® Foundation Inc. will award full scholarships to two winning contestants. The scholarships are for two students 14-18 years of age, to attend its annual one-week STEAM (science, technology engineering, arts and math) LEADERSHIP Conference in Rome, NY in late July 2023. The scholarships, each valued at $1,500 and include conference tuition, overnight accommodations, and meals.

1PM-3PM Capitol Theatre
Local talent perform on the Capitol Theatre stage. The Rome based band 2nd Breakfast will be the featured performing act. The full list of performers includes individuals and groups, and performers from John Hayes O’Neill Studio of Dance, Rising Stars, Academy of Performing Creative Arts, Greg Ungangst and Rebecca Matte, Corey Colmey Drum Instruction, Nathan Alexander and others.
